The Story Behind the Mission Statement

Our Mission Statement is what drives us; it's why we do what we do.

We see our business as our ministry, and we work diligently to make certain we act accordingly in all of our dealings and relationships.

We stand on the following Scriptures from the Bible as the foundation rock of our Mission Statement.

To Honor God in all we do

Philippians 2:9-11:

Therefore, God elevated Him to the place of highest honor and gave Him the name above all other names; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Matthew 5:16:

In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.

1 Corinthians 10:31:

So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

1 Corinthians 10:13-14:

Be on guard.  Stand firm in the faith.  Be courageous.  Be strong.  And do everything with love.

To Help People

Philippians 2:3-4:

Don't be selfish; don't try to impress others.  Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves.  Don't look out only for your interests, but take an interest in others, too.

Galatians 6:10:

Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone...

Galatians 6:2-3:

Share each other's burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ.  If you think you are too important to help someone, you are only fooling yourself.  You are not that important.

1 Corinthians 10:24:

Don't be concerned for your own good but for the good of others.

To Pursue Excellence

Colossians 3:23:

Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord.  Remember that the Lord will give you an inheritance as your reward, and that the Master you are serving is Christ.

1 Thessalonians 4:10:

...But we urge you, brethren, to excel still more.  (NASB)

Colossians 3:17:

And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.

1 Thessalonians 4:1:

Finally, then, brethren, we request and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that as you recieved from us instruction as to how you ought to walk and please God (just as you actually do walk), that you excel still more. (NASB)

To Grow Profitably

Colossians 1:9-10:

We ask God to give you complete knowledge of His will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding.  Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit.  All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better.

2 Peter 3:18-18:

I am warning you ahead of time, dear friends.  Be on guard so that you will not be carried away by the errors of these wicked people and lose your own secure footing.  Rather, you must grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 4:14-16

Then we will no longer be immature like children.  We won't be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching.  We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth.  Instead we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of His body, the church.  He makes the whole body fit together perfectly.  As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.
