We’ve had the privilege of completing transformative projects for churches and ministries, including Every Home for Christ’s Watchman Training Center and Plum Creek Community Church’s renovation, turning an old bowling alley into a vibrant worship space.
Stillwater Church – Loveland, CO
Great West Construction partnered with Stillwater Church to build a new 21,305 sq. ft. home for their growing congregation on a 10.4-acre site in Loveland. This ground-up, two-story project pairs wood-frame construction with a structural steel system, including the dramatic curved steel that shapes the building’s signature roofline. The upper level holds a 262-seat sanctuary alongside adult classrooms and Church offices, while the lower level was purpose-built for Lionheart Children’s Academy — classrooms the Church shares for its own ministry on weekends.
Radiant Church North Campus – Colorado Springs, CO
In partnership with BGW Architects, Great West Construction delivered a 33,326 sq. ft. ground-up expansion of Radiant Church’s North Campus in Colorado Springs, connecting the new structure to a 9,800 sq. ft. building the team had previously renovated for the Church. Built on concrete piers and grade beams with a structural steel frame, the addition centers on an auditorium seating 600 with an occupancy capacity of 968, plus a youth and multi-purpose room for 170 and the full-time Missions Café. The result gives a growing congregation room to gather and serve across the 7.5-acre campus.
Academy Christian Church – Colorado Springs, CO
Great West Construction partnered with Academy Christian Church to bring their vision for a new worship facility to life. This ground-up construction project delivered a modern, welcoming space designed to serve the church’s growing congregation, with thoughtful details that support both ministry and community engagement.
Zeal Church – Colorado Springs, CO
In partnership with BGW Architects, Great West Construction transformed a former Macy’s department store into a vibrant new home for Zeal Church. This adaptive reuse project required strategic planning, creative problem-solving, and expert coordination to convert a large retail space into a welcoming, functional place of worship. From structural modifications to specialty finishes, our team delivered with precision and care—meeting tight timelines while honoring the unique vision of the church. The result is a dynamic, purpose-driven facility that now serves as a hub for ministry, connection, and community impact.
