Originally from south-central Kansas, Rick has spent most of his career in and around the construction industry, with over 20 years of construction management experience. Early on, he worked in heavy construction for a bridge contractor before graduating from Wichita State University in Business Administration. For the next 12 years, Rick worked in management supporting the construction industry, providing materials for heavy industrial contractors in civil and commercial construction. After moving to Colorado Springs in 2008 with his wife, Joan, he ran his own successful remodeling business for a number of years before spending the next 15 years in residential custom and semi-custom homebuilding, multifamily construction, and commercial construction management. Rick brings extensive knowledge of construction and project management to Great West Construction. One of Rick’s greatest passions is teaching the Bible. With undergraduate and graduate degrees in theology, he works extensively with his local church leadership to develop adult Christian education curriculum and teaches Bible classes to help believers mature in their walk with Christ. He and his wife have also been very involved in worship in the local church over the years. Rick and Joan have three married adult children scattered from Colorado Springs to overseas, with one unbelievably cute granddaughter to date. Rick loves working on home projects, riding his mountain bike, studying Scripture, working in the yard, playing saxophone, and shooting. But more than anything, regardless of what they are doing, he enjoys the company of his wife!

About me, I’m a proud father of 3 great kids and I enjoy being their dad and spending time with my family. I ask God for guidance daily and put my trust in God. I’ve always had a passion for construction that started early in life helping my father and Grandfather, building, maintaining properties, and renovations on the family property and rental homes. I have performed various rolls in construction since 2005 and have a well-rounded experience in building projects. My Commercial superintendent career started in 2019. I take pride in building safe, quality projects that last.

Jeffrey “Jeff” Lee is a Project Superintendent with a strong background in the trades and a deep appreciation for the people who bring each project to life. He began his construction career as a carpenter and spent the first 20 years of his career in the field before being asked to step into a superintendent role. He has never looked back. Jeff enjoys working alongside owners, clients, and trade partners to help bring projects from concept to completion. For him, one of the most rewarding parts of the job is knowing he has a role in helping people’s dreams, goals, and ventures become reality. Outside of work, Jeff is a husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. His grandchildren are a huge part of his life, and he especially enjoys coaching his granddaughter’s softball team. He also enjoys hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles, especially Harleys, and spending time at his family cabin in Northern Arizona. Peter joined Great West Construction in 2025, bringing more than 18 years of experience in technology leadership, infrastructure operations, and project coordination. His background includes leading large-scale modernization and cloud integration efforts across multi-campus organizations, where he became known for his organized approach, steady communication, and focus on dependable systems that serve people well. At Great West, Peter combines his technical expertise with his passion for collaboration and problem solving, supporting both the construction and IT sides of company operations. His faith in Jesus Christ guides his work and daily life, shaping how he leads, serves, and builds lasting relationships. Peter and his wife Rebecca live in Monument with their daughter Jackie, together known as “PB&J.” They enjoy music, creative projects, and exploring Colorado’s great outdoors as a family.

Richard is a seasoned construction superintendent with over 45 years of experience in the industry. His journey began at the age of 14, and he has since honed his skills to become a trusted leader in construction projects. With a strong work ethic and an adventurous spirit, Richard brings dedication to every project he undertakes. When he’s not overseeing job sites, you can find Richard indulging in his passion for outdoor adventures. Camping and riding UTVs are his go-to hobbies, allowing him to embrace the beauty of nature. Beyond his professional life, he cherishes spending time with his wife (they were married in 1988) and his family. He also enjoys collaborating with the talented team at Great West Construction, where his skills and experience shine in a group that shares his passion for excellence.

Jennifer is a true Colorado native. Prior to joining Great West, she worked as the accounting / office manager for a meat packing plant. Jennifer currently runs the accounting department at Great West. She also performs Project Engineer responsibilities in support of our Project Management team. Jennifer is married to Jason, and has two beautiful daughters, Tyli and Isley. Jennifer and Jason are both dirt track racers. Jennifer is currently an active member of the Rocky Mountain Lightning Sprint Association and is actively campaigning her #86 lightning sprint all over Colorado, and at tracks as far as Nebraska and Minnesota. She has had multiple heat race and main event wins in her racing career.

Bob began his career in the Construction industry in 1978, working part time as a laborer while attending high school. During Bob’s 30 plus years in the industry he has performed the duties of Estimator, Project Superintendent, Project Engineer and Project Manager on numerous commercial projects. In 1993 Bob moved to the Colorado Springs area and began his own general contracting business. For 16 years Bob gained valuable experience in performing all the duties associated with owning and managing a company, whose main focus was the construction of large scale ministry related projects. Bob earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Structural Engineering from California State University Northridge. From his education and previous training he has become very detailed oriented and places a high emphasis on being well organized and prepared. Above all Bob prides himself in performing his duties with the utmost integrity and honesty. Bob and his wife Terri live up the pass in Cascade. They have two daughters, Brittany and Melissa, and the greatest grandkids you have ever seen. Bob and his family worship together at Rocky Mountain Calvary Chapel and he holds firm to the truths which are proclaimed in Titus 3:4-7. Bob is a big fan of the Air Force Academy football team and when he is not cheering on the Falcons he enjoys playing golf, and camping and fishing in Colorado’s great outdoors.

George was born and raised in Connecticut. Immediately after graduating from high school he joined the United States Air Force. His Air Force career as a construction equipment operator had him stationed in New Hampshire, Maine, Alaska and finally Germany. His exposure to diverse cultures and organizations has taught him to approach situations with an open mind. After his retirement from the Air Force in 1994 he moved to Denver, Colorado where he worked for 7 years with a large earth-moving general contractor. After moving to Colorado Springs in 2001 he worked for a single-family tract home builder for 6 years and then for a short time with a paint and drywall contractor. George currently holds a Building Limited (B-1) license with the Pikes Peak Regional Building Department. George is a team player who recognizes that every trade involved in the project is a valuable member of the team. Not willing to sacrifice quality or safety he leads the team to complete the job on schedule and within budget. George and his wife Sabine live in Peyton, and have 7 grown children. They have 13 grandkids! Their family fellowships at Church For All Nations, and are involved with a local youth orchestra. George enjoys hunting and archery with his kids.
